The first six months of 2016 kept ORECA Events busy

Beginning of 2016

Seminars, incentives, public relations, interactive animations

The first term of 2016 has now come to an end. Our agency has been particularly busy, having conducted many projects simultaneously. Besides working with major automotive companies, over 30 corporate events have also taken place this year.

Those stood as great opportunities for ORECA Events to show its wide know-how and expertise in devising corporate events. Indeed, to respond to the variety of requests received across the last six months, we have relied on almost all of our available products and packages as part of our events solutions offering. Incentives and seminars (to do with automotive or not), public relations services or interactive animations: different formats and venues were required.

Past events

Formats suited to your objectives

Our main activity is to devise corporate events around motorsport. We have organised several incentives for one of our best clients, Monaco Marine, inviting guests behind the wheel of our Porsche Cayman and our Renault Clio Cup.

In late June, the Volkswagen event was also one of the highlights of this first term, as it was a five-day business incentive gathering 60 salesmen of the group, whom we invited to discover single-seater driving on track, at the wheel or our Formula 3 cars.

The one-day event organised for Soleidad was also an opportunity for our guests to try sports driving, with the exclusive company of Jacques Lafitte who came to advise the rookie drivers and share his experience as a former Formula 1 driver.

We also worked on an event for one of ORECA Group’s three departments, namely ORECA Store’s online shop for motorsport equipment. The store’s best B to B customers attended this two-day event. All guests enjoyed the facilities of the Paul Ricard Circuit, spent a night at the hotel and took to the track of the Driving Center in Porsche Cayman.

The first six months of 2016 were also punctuated by several seminars, one of which was devised for ADF Group. For those, we were in charge of hiring meeting rooms, managing accommodation, looking after transfers in some cases, and arranging extra activities. Some involved motorsport (on-track driving, slaloms, go-karting, etc.) while others did not (seaside activities or golf for instance).

Since the beginning of the year, we also hired our driving simulators on many occasions while working flat out with other interactive animations. We brought our simulators (1/2 F1, cockpits) to many events such as trade shows or private corporate evenings. We also attended the four-day trade show Industries 2016 and set up a simulator on Orbatech stand, ensuring supervision and entertainment.

Once again this yeae we were also in charge of a VIP hospitality space for LM P1 team Toyota Gazoo Racing as part of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This provided many businesses with the opportunity to invite their clients or collaborators to experience the greatest race in the world in ideal conditions. In addition to the hospitality itself, set up just along the track, our staff guided VIP groups around, immersing them in the heart of the race and its history. The 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans were a great success for the ORECA Group, not only on track but also alongside it, with ORECA Events.

Second semester 2016

Great opportunities ahead

In 2016, ORECA Events launched their brand new business evenings, designed to offer companies and bosses an opportunity to invite a small number of clients or prospects in order to discover on-track driving but also, and above all, to stimulate their businesses. This format encourages to invite smaller groups to join a laid-back and definitely business-oriented afterwork events.

Those ‘rendez-vous’ will continue throughout the year, with two new evenings scheduled on September 6th and October 6th at the Driving Center, inside the Paul Ricard Circuit. Do not hesitate to contact us directly to have more information about this new format. We would be delighted to count you amongst participants during our upcoming business evenings.

This year’s second term promises to be busy too, our team is already working on numerous projects. Whether near Nîmes for Matmut, or at the Paul Ricard Circuit for a Fun Boost race with HM Développement, events formats will once again vary a lot depending on clients and their objectives. If you wish to have more information about our products and packages or organise a corporate event, please do get in touch via the contact form.
