Monaco Marine, expert in shipyard services including repair and refit of yachts, and established on several sites between La Ciotat and Monaco, have put their trust in ORECA Events for a series of corporate events. Indeed, following on the projects we conducted for the company in 2014 and 2015, the events agency has once again worked to support its partner in increasing customer loyalty and organising team-building experiences. A series of three different events has been developed and implemented this early 2016.
Monaco Marine had two aims: to both thank its clients, inviting them to have a fantastic time, and value its collaborators, enabling them to take part too. Initial discussions led to three types of events: a cocktail evening, then two track days, one for people who are not particularly familiar with on-track driving, and another one for more experienced drivers.
Varying events formats to suit different participants
The evening took place at one of the company’s building, in La Ciotat. ORECA Events brought an interactive activity, for entertainment. The Pit-stop Challenge was set up to foster a competition spirit during the event. In teams, all participants had a go at it, in a friendly atmosphere. After the cocktail, the fastest teams received an award. That evening was a great team-building experience and helped to develop customer loyalty.
The most sports-oriented event of the series, namely a driving course at the Paul Ricard Circuit’s Driving Center, took place one month later, Saturday March 19th, on board a Clio Cup race car. Thrills guaranteed for all participants who were already experienced drivers. As part of this B to B event, guests had the chance to enjoy the high-end facilities of the circuit for a whole day.
The last event was scheduled a couple of weeks later, on April 2nd. Once again it was an incentive for clients and collaborators on the Driving Center track, at the Paul Ricard Circuit. Monaco Marine had invited employees with no experience of on-track driving. All day long, they participated in a driving course on board a Porsche Cayman.
Those three events combined allowed Monaco Marine to thank many clients and value most of its collaborators. ORECA Events is glad to have supported the company in organising and implementing their project, and would be delighted to pursue this work and collaboration in the future.
