Toyota Gazoo Racing welcomed 700 VIPs at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

ORECA Group was on all fronts at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans is traditionally the busiest time of the year for ORECA Group. That was the case again with this 2016 edition and the various departments involved, on many different levels. ORECA Technology & Racing was busy on track, ORECA Store held a commercial presence and ORECA Events conducted several projects.

As an events agency, our work included designing and managing the VIP hospitality space for guests of team Toyota Gazoo Racing as well as our own clients who had opted for our public relations services, immersed in the heart of the race and the team. In total, our hospitality space has welcomed over 700 people.

Immersed in the heart of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

This 2016 edition marked our 5th year of collaboration with Toyota in Le Mans. On this occasion, we imagined a brand new two-floor VIP facility, with a panoramic terrace offering an incredible view of the track, right where the ‘raccordement’ is. Initial thinking, set up and interior layout, we have taken part and coordinated all stages of the process.

Once the hospitality space put in place, we devised a unique VIP programme to ensure an immersive experience for all guests, allowing them to be at the heart of the race, with Toyota Gazoo Racing. Greeted at the VIP carpark, all guests were welcomed personally and given a Welcome Pack upon arrival, before the Shuttle service took them to the hospitality.

Later on, several activities awaited our clients: they visited the 24 Hours of Le Mans village and the shuttle service took them to different sections of the track. They also enjoyed a cocktail and the panoramic view from the hospitality terrace. Everything was made so that our guests could see the race from a different perspective, closer to the contenders themselves, and experience it more intensely. In that sense, visiting an LM P2 pit box was a real highlight within the programme.

Guests had the unique opportunity to visit the pit box of one of the teams competing with a car manufactured by ORECA Technology. A motorsport, and 24 Hours of Le Mans, expert guided them around, explaining more about the race and the daily life of a motorsport team. Our guests really discovered a place which is usually exclusively accessed by contenders themselves.

Besides the different activities available, guests also had unlimited access to the hospitality and the services within it: open bar, breakfast and dinner buffet, lounge area with sofas, panoramic terrace with view of the track. Whether for leisure or business-oriented with clients and prospects, every possible effort was made for VIPs to be in the best conditions.

Whether on Wednesday or Thursday for the qualifying sessions or at the weekend for the race, our services are an efficient loyalty tool and a proven way to motivate collaborators and foster a sense of community. We are delighted to have collaborated once again with Toyota as well as LM P2 teams that have granted us access to their pits throughout the entire week, enabling all of our 700 VIP guests to have a unique experience.
